![]() A rebozo is a woven garment that can be described as a large scarf. While it is mostly used by women in Mexico and parts of Central and South America, it can be found in similar form and function among other cultures around the world . Rebozos can be worn or used in various ways, typically wrapped around the head or upper body to shade from the sun, shield the cold, or as an accessory. It can also be used to carry infants, and has functions that support pregnancy and labor; some techniques are taught during pre-birth home visits as part of my Birth Doula Services.

![]() Our rebozos are hand-woven by women artisans in a small community in Laos. They weave traditional Lao patterns and colors on lap looms using a fairly labor-intensive process. Every rebozo sold helps their community and families with basic living expenses and supports Fair Trade traditional handiwork by women, for women.
